Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) once again has rejected the government bill regarding State Bank of Pakistan.
Addressing a presser along with Miftah Ismael , Maryam Aurangzaib, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Bilal Kiyani, former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbassi declared the state bank of Pakistan amendment bill against the sovereignty of the country.
Senior leader of the PML-N Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that senate should send back this bill to National Assembly for a debate while he warned that if the assembly changes we will end this act immediately.
Talking about the bill, Shahid Khaqan said that the government and the parliament will not able to ask any question from SBP adding that conditions which were earlier set by the IMF, now the SBP will set it under the bill.
Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that consultation with as many as 120 institutions has been urged in the national security and the parliament is not included in it.
He said that the government not defeated in the parliament because it wins through telephone.
