PML-N Supremo Diagnosed With ‘Coronary Artery Disease’

LAHORE: Medical board of the Jinnah Hospital on Sunday diagnosed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Nawaz Sharif with ‘Coronary artery disease’ (CAD), validating the diagnoses of the previously formed medical boards.

The medical board of Jinnah Hospital, which is examining the former prime minister, has completed its recommendations regarding ailing Nawaz’s treatment. The board also confirmed that Nawaz Sharif is suffering from various heart diseases.

As per PML-N sources, the newly constituted medical board of the hospital carried out consultations regarding reports of previous medical boards, blood tests reports and complete history of heart diseases.

Sources also stated that treatment of the ailing incarcerated premier has become a bit tough as he is suffering from kidney diseases as well as heart diseases at the same time.

Punjab government and the interior ministry will be enlightened soon regarding the recommendations prepared by the Jinnah hospital’s medical board over the health condition of Mian Nawaz Sharif.

The detained supremo of the PML-N was shifted to Jinnah Hospital of Lahore on Friday owing to his illness after the government of Punjab on Thursday issued a notification to shift Nawaz Sharif to the hospital from Kot Lakhpat jail.

On Saturday, Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz had also visited former premier Nawaz Sharif at Jinnah Hospital.

However, Maryam expressed concerns over shifting his father to Jinnah Hospital instead of taking him to Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) against recommendations of the medical board, she asserted while talking to reporters.
