PML-Q Decides To Put Pressure On Govt To Fulfill Its Promises

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) on Sunday announced that talks will be held when the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government initiate implementation on matters negotiated between the two parties.

An emergency meeting of the PML-Q was held in Lahore with Chaudhary Shujaat in chair. The meeting was attended by Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Member National Assembly Monis Elahi, Hussain Elahi and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Chaudhary Shujaat and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that the decisions taken during a meeting with the other committee should be implemented first and then talks would be on other issues.

Chaudhry brothers also said that talks with the government would only be held after previously negotiated matters become a reality.

They said that repeated changes lead to mistrust after political issues are settled, adding that the change is good but making changes creates distrust and urged the federal government to refrain from creating such a pattern.

Chaudhry Shujaat said that the party is coordinating with the PTI government in view of national interests, however, some ministers are trying to create misunderstandings between them and PM Imran Khan.

Pervaiz Elahi said that the national interests and the rights of nationals hold importance higher than ministries.
