ISLAMABAD: The politician-cum-lawyer Dr Babar Awan on Thursday submitted the reply on behalf of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) over a notice for visiting constituency NA-205 during his stay in Ghotki.
ECP had served a notice to Premier, stating that visiting constituency after issuance of election schedule is “violation of the code of conduct”.
Babar Awan called on ECP Secretary Babar Yaqoob Fateh Mohammad and presented PM’s response to the notice sent to him by the federal body.
Previously on June 19, PM Imran Khan paid a visit to the bereaved family of deceased former Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Ali Mohammad Khan Mahar in Ghotki.
On this occasion, he was accompanied by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Federal Ministers Fehmida Mirza Muhammad Mian Soomro and MNA Ghaus Bakhsh Mahar.
