LAHORE: Lahore police on Saturday arrested the suspect involved in the murder of a twenty two-year-old girl, who was found dead in the Gulberg area of Lahore on Friday, just days before her wedding.
As per details, the brother-in-law of Hira was involved in her killing after she refused to flee away with him, the initial investigation from the suspect revealed.
The father of the deceased, identified as Riaz Hussein, told the police that he came home to find out that his daughter was missing. Upon going out of the house to search for her, the father found the body of his daughter in a nearby park.
Eyewitnesses to the murder informed the father that unknown men on motorbikes had opened fire on the girl and killed her, before fleeing towards the Liberty Market despite facing resistance from bystanders.
