Peshawar (June 13, 2017): Young Doctors Association (YDA) held protest demonstration at Hayatabad Medical Complex on Tuesday, where they indulged in heated arguments with police.
The doctors, who tried to force enter the wards to close them, were stopped by police. Police used baton charge to stop them from entering the hospital’s wards.

Police arrested six doctors during the demonstration.
As the doctors had announced to close different wards in protest, heavy contingent of police was deployed outside the wards to control the situation.
The doctors tried to enter the wards but it resulted in a heated argument with police deployed there and police baton-charged the protesters to disperse them.
The young doctors are demanding compensation for the martyred doctors, ending political interference in the hospital management, security for doctors along with time-scale promotion and professional allowance.
