KARACHI: Police busted a gang of women involved in robbing shops in Korangi and Landhi areas.
According to the Awami Colony police, the women had also been arrested earlier on the charges theft and robberies in Taimuria and Gizri areas.
Police recovered stolen articles from the possession of the women. The accused women reportedly revealed they have looted dozens of shops in different areas.
The police quoted the women as saying that they would hide the stolen things in their chadors. Stolen articles such as jewellery and clothes have been recovered from their possession.
Police said that the women would go around in a group to rob shops.
