KARACHI: Two gang-war criminals were killed in Lyari encounter, while police killed another bandit at Super Highway near toll plaza.
Police carry on operations against criminals in the metropolis Karachi and arrested three accused involved in torching bus from Surjani Town.
According to the details, two Lyari gang-war criminals were killed in an encounter near Baghdadi slaughter house, area of Lyari. Police said the gangsters were affiliated with Uzair group. Police recovered weapons and hand grenade from their possession.
In a separate encounter, police killed a bandit at Super Highway near toll plaza and three of his accomplices managed to flee. On the other hand, police arrested a wounded accused after exchange of bullets from Gulshan-i-Shiraz and recovered weapon from his possession.
Police arrested three accused involved in torching bus from Bhanse Colony. Police said that the accused affiliated with a political party.
