Police Release Alamgir Khan After Brief Custody

KARACHI: Police has released fixit chief Alamgir khan after just brief custody from Aram Bagh Police Station.

Talking to media after his release from Aram Bagh police station, Alamgir Khan said that he and his organization Fixit will continue the protest and next time they will protest outside the Chief Minister house.

Describing the ordeal at the Teen Talwar Clifton he said that workers of the PPP tortured activists of his fixit members over the protest and they vandalized vehicles and used weapons.

Police had apprehended Fixit Chief and member of National Assembly (NA) Alamgir Khan along with his workers from Teen Talwar Clifton neighborhood of the city.

The Fixit has staged a protest outside the office of local body minister Saeed Ghani situated at Teen Talwar Clifton. Activists of Pakistan Peoples Party also gathered outside the office and before the protest of the Fixit and came face to face.

The police batton charged the protestors to disperse the protesting party workers and arrested many of the workers.

In the meanwhile, the Fixit chief Alamgir Khan decided to reach the spot by himself while as he reaches the venue Police apprehended him while the administration didn’t allow him to hold a presser at the spot.

After the arrest talking to media, Alamgir Khan said that the protest has been staged against worst water and sewerage situation in the city.
