Police Seek Help From Public For Arresting Offenders In ‘Farishta Murder Case’

ISLAMABAD: The Capital City Police have requested the public to help them in apprehending the offenders involved in ‘Farishta Murder Case’, AbbTakk news reported on Sunday.

As per details, the capital police have published an advertisement in which it was announced that the person who will help in apprehending the offenders will be awarded a cash prize of Rs1 million.

However, their names will be kept secret, added the advertisement.

On the other hands, officials of various branches of police are working hard to apprehend the offender.

According to the spokesperson of the Capital police, the geo-fencing has been completed and as much as call records of 1.5 million people have been gathered by the authorities. At least 200 suspicious individuals were questioned in the case.

DNA sampling and polygraphic testing procedures of the family have also been completed, the spokesperson added.

On May 15, Farishta, who belonged to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mohmand Agency district, was found dead from Chak Shahzad town of the federal capital.
