KARACHI: Police, during its search operation in the wee hours of Monday, took 18 suspicious individuals in its custody.
According to SSP Malir, the search operation was held in Quaidabad and Sharafi Goth.
Particulars of 600 persons were carried out in the operation which resulted in the undertaking of 16 of them in custody, SSP Malir said.
Caught suspects include notorious drug peddlers and individuals from Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L), and cases have been filed against them, SSP Malir added.
Moreover, police stated that all paths of entrances and exits were sealed during the operation.
