LAHORE: Polio-hit Pakistani weightlifter Naveed Butt arrived homeland with the title of Mr Olympia gold medal today.
Naveed Butt’s family and friends gave warm welcome to him at the airport. It is pertinent to mention here that Naveed Butt left for US and participated in the competition by his own expenses and won the title.
Sources said that Naveed Butt won the title for the record third time despite disability. Having set Arnold Schwarzenegger record of seven titles in mind, Naveed is doing his every bit to overcome his physical disability but also the financial hardships.
He had to take loan to take part in the contest.
