ISLAMABAD: Political leaders of the country condemning assassination attempt on renowned religious scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani and declared the incident a conspiracy to create chaos in the country.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has condemned assignation attempt on renowned religious scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani.
The PM said that Mufti Taqi Usmani is a prominent religious scholar and declared him asset of the country.
The premier directed security forces to ensure the security of religious scholars adding that attempt on his life is a heinous conspiracy and the government will try its best to unearth the conspiracy.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif condemned the attack on life of Maulana Mufti Taqi Usmani and declared it a conspiracy to create chaos in the country while he also thanked God that Mufti Taqi Usmani and his family members remained safe in the attack adding that the attack on the religious scholar is an alarming moment.
Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Asif Zardari said that the enemies of Karachi got jealous after successful eight matches of Pakistan Super League season four in Karachi while he urged the security forces to tackle the terrorist with iron hands who tried to disrupt peace in the metropolis.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal-Ur-Rehman (JUI-F) Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi demanded immediate arrest of the perpetrators.
Molana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi also demanded the government to provide security to Ulemas and Medressahs.
