Voting process would be continued for Legislative assembly in Gilgit-Baltistan since 8 am to 4 pm on June, 8 (today).
However, polling requirements have been delivered in 24 constituencies of Gilgit-Baltistan, chief secretary of GB, Tahir Hussain, IG police Zafar Iqbal Awan and commander SCNA, Major general Asif Munir have visited sensitive polling stations of Diamir.
In view of the situation, 144 section has been imposed, while 5,500 military personnel would perform security duties in seven districts. Meanwhile, 4,200 police personnel including rangers have been deployed, whereas, Gilgit Baltistan Scouts would perform security duties during polls.
As,Control room has been established in civil line in regards of elections, while 112 CCTV cameras have been installed in various areas of the city.
