ANKARA: Voting has been continued for the 24th general election for new parliament, where the result would decide the future of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, while the ruling party Justice and Development Party hoped to win the election again
According to foreign news agency, people would choose representatives for 550 seats in the 24th general election of Turkey, where there is a tough competition is expected between three leading parties, Justice and Development Party, Republican People’s Party and Nationalist Movement Party.
However, Justice and Development Party chief, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had been performing his duties as Prime Minister of Turkey since 2003 to 2014, while he was elected as President last year in August.
According to Turk laws, the political party who would get 276 seats out of 550 would make central government. Such as, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan won 327 seats in the general election in the year of 2011.
