Karachi: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday remained positive on fourth day of business.
The market reached at 44, 502 after increase of 242 points.
The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) had witnessed bullish trend on yesterday , gaining 216.37 points, with a positive change of 0.49 percent, closing at 44,260.11 points against 44,043.74 points on the last working day.
A total of 271,113,356 shares were traded during the day compared to the trade of 143,445,047 shares the previous day whereas the price of shares stood at Rs8.156 billion against Rs4.989 billion the previous day.
As many as 370 companies transacted shares in the stock market, 199 of them recorded gain and 147 sustained losses, whereas the share price of 24 companies remained unchanged.
