THATTA: Pumping of water to the city has been suspended for hours on Saturday owing to a major electricity breakdown.
According to details, the 72-inch pipe burst due to the backlog of water when the power supply to the station was suspended.
The impact of the short supply of water would be felt in Landhi, Korangi, Shah Lateef Town, Malir, Quaidabad, Gulshan and other areas.
The board officials have asked people to conserve water and not to waste it.
