ISLAMABAD: Pakstan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari has declared current National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser as “weak”.
Talking to media after attending the NA’s budget session, he said that Asad Qasier lacked authority.
“The weak speaker does not have entire authority. The production orders were issued because of the pressure that PPP created and the letter which I wrote to the speaker and chairman of NA’s standing committee on human rights”, Zardari claimed.
Reflecting his views on the federal budget 2019-20, the former president said that it has created a chaotic environment.
“We are trying our best not to let this Anti-people budget be approved. These current rulers are failing to control the state’s affairs. If not us, then someone else will initiate a movement against them”, he added.
