ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party will hold an all parties congruence today to deliberate upon military courts, National Action Plan and FATA reforms.
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM), Muslim League-Q, Awami National Party, Qaumi Watan Party, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), Awami Tehrik and legislators from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) will participate in the APC.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was not invited in the multi parties conference. While Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf refused to participate in the APC.
The APC is called to make consensus on military courts and its limitations, FATA Reforms and implementation on National Action Plan and its outcomes. Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah called on PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari at Zardari House in Islamabad and discussed different issues pertinent to APC.
Asif Ali Zardari directed Khursheed Shah to adopt offensive strategy against the government in the assembly.
