Islamabad (August 10, 2018): The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has decided to appoint Hassan Murtaza as its parliamentary leader in Punjab assembly on Friday.
The party sources said that he would be appointed as a parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly after the approval of party chairman Bilawal Bhutto.
In his response, Murtaza said, “He is the worker of the party and he will accept whenever or whatever the responsibility party assign to him as the struggle to strengthen of democracy will be continued in the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto.”Earlier on August 09, the chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto summoned an important party meeting in Karachi to review the post-election situation and formation of government in Sindh.
The chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari will jointly chair the meeting, while central leadership including Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Sherry Rehman and other will attend the meeting.
The issue of massive rigging during election 2018, contacts with other opposition parties and formation of the government will be also discussed in the meeting.
