KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided not to support further extension in military courts.
The PPP huddle was held in joint chair of its chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday attended by all senior leaders of the party.
The meeting considered revengeful actions against the party and it’s leadership and other matters related.
In the huddle the PPP leadership has hinted not to keep quiet and show of political power against revengeful actions and anti-democracy behavior of the federal government.
The PPP leaders have left the matter to their counsels whether to go for review or not over decision of Joint Interrogation Team (JIT).
The party leader Farhat Ullah Baber said that will not support in further extension into the military courts.
Former premier Yousuf Raza Gillani expressed concerns over economic conditions of the country and demanded establishment of South Punjab province.
Murtaza Wahab, the ppp leader and adviser to Chief Minister Sindh on law, said “We are not people who fear conspiracies.”
The adviser said that transferring Sindh cases to Islamabad is out of logic.
