ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) high-level delegation led by Nayyar Bukhari met Akbar S Babar, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founding member who filed foreign funding case against PTI in November 2014 after developing differences with party chairman Imran Khan.
The delegation assured provision of legal assistance to Akbar S Babar in foreign funding case against the ruling political party. Sources privy to PPP said deputy secretary information Palwasha Khan and close aide of Asif Ali Zardari Qayyum Soomro were also included in the delegation.
However, the PPP delegation ensured provision of legal support to Akbar S Babar who filed the case that spotted 18 fake accounts for illegal flow of funds to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
