PPP MPA Laid To Rest In Umerkot

UMERKOT: Pakistan People’s Party MPA from Sindh Assembly, Syed Ali Mardan Shah, was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Bibi Mathan near Umrekot on Sunday.

Provincial Ministers aong with other MNAs and MPAs from PPP and PTI and a large number of local residents attended the funeral of Syed Ali Mardan Shah.

Syed Ali Mardan Shah entered the politics in 1979 when he was elected member to Zila Council Tarparkar.

He also remained vice chairman of Zila Council Tarparkar from 1983 to 1987.

He was first elected Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Sindh on PPP ticket in 1988. Syed Ali Mardan Shah won the provincial assembly seat six times while he also served as a provincial minister twice.
