ISLAMABAD: The leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Nafeesa Shah expressed concerns over the appointment of former finance minister Asad Umar as chairman finance committee of the national assembly and said the party will strongly protest over the issue.
Talking to media outside the parliament, the lower house, she said that all the members including PTI member have expressed the reservation over the likely appointment of Asad Umar as chairman finance committee and all have the view the change will be resisted.
Talking over Faisal Vawda she said that Almighty Allah gives him health, however, he has given the pain of heart to the poor.
Lashing out appointment governor SBP and new chairman FBR, she said that the person who was serving for IMF in Egypt suddenly PM lifted him and appointed governor SBP as had he not any other choice.
“PM has not followed the law and regulations for the appointment of chairman FBR as he has the owner of the famous charted accountant firm that is tax evader of billion of rupees,” she alleged adding that she has all documents regarding the firm.
She said the PPP will raise the issue in parliament as the government has appointed the chairman FBR by violating the law.
