PPP Refuses to Give Relief to Sharif family

Lahore (August 17, 2017): Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto refused to provide any kind of relief to Sharif family and vowed PPP will contest next election alone.

Addressing press conference with co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in Lahore, Bilawal Bhutto said that Sharif family would not be provided any relief as every person knew Sharif family was not innocent.

“We are doing political activities across the Punjab, KP and people are looking towards PPP with high hopes,” Bilawal said.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari ruled out any support for the ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, saying there is no threat, whatsoever, to democracy in the country.

“[The] PML-N should not be under any state of confusion; we are not going to support them or provide any favour [in the wake of Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification],” Bilawal added.“We are running our own political campaign and it has nothing to do with Nawaz… will not extend any sort of support to the Sharif family.”

Speaking on the occasion, Zardari said he could foresee Nawaz and his family had no political future. “I have never received any favour from Nawaz Sharif, neither I will do so in future,” he said.

Asif Ali Zardari said that PPP never supported Nawaz Sharif, during Imran’s Dharna, as PPP backed only democracy and parliament.

“People misunderstood, we never make friendship with Nawaz Sharif but with democracy and parliament,” he said.“Time has passed to make an agreement with anyone and PPP will run political affairs with its own way,” Zardari said adding that PPP will go alone  in future.

Commenting over Sharif family future, Zardari said that there will be no future of Sharif family in politics.

Replying to a question regarding Imran Khan,  Zardari said, “Imran is playing on full toss balls when he will come on no balls we will make strategy over it.

On July 28, a five-member bench of the Supreme Court had disqualified Nawaz from the PM’s office for failing to declare a salary, which he had not withdrawn as an executive of Dubai-based company, as an asset when filing his nomination papers in 2013.
