Islamabad (August 02, 2018): The vital consultative huddle of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to discuss the name for the slot of the speaker in National Assembly held today.
Bilawal Bhutto presided over the meeting while the members of the delegation, who attended the grand opposition meeting a few hours ago, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Sherry Rehman, Naveed Qamar, Farhatullah Babar and Qamra Zaman Kaira also attended the meeting.
The grand opposition meeting has decided to contest PM, NA Speaker slot and as per formula, PML-N was given PM, PPP speaker and MMA deputy speaker slot.
The meeting contemplating over the names of the NA speaker while the delegation will apprise the Bilawal Bhutto over the decision made during the APC in Islamabad.
Earlier, the Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto directed the party workers to collect the pieces of evidence of pre-poll and during the poll rigging and sent it to the party central election office.
Talking to the party president of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Hamyun Khan and Ziaullah Afridi Bilwal said that PPP has already rejected the results of the recently held election and the evidence of the alleged rigging will be sent to the ECP.
Lauding the PPP workers efforts for election, PPP chairman said that PPP workers have laid numerous sacrifices for the democracy. He directed the leaders to keep the workers active as he will soon visit KP.
