ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that his party will make legislation in the parliament for the eradication of violence conducted by the state.
PPP Chairman took to social media micro-blogging site Twitter and said that “we know that violence from the hand of the state is still continued.”
#PPP will bring legislation in Parliament to end the barbaric practice of torture at the hands of the state. Police, agencies & NAB all have a long and sordid history of such practices. We know it is still on going. No civilized democratic country functions this way. #EndTorture https://t.co/0u09tud220
