PPP Will Issue Farmers’ Card Now: Bilawal Bhutto

Hyderabad (July 03, 2018): Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that PPP has always adopted farmers’ friendly policies, PPP earlier gave Benazir Income Support Program now we will issue farmers’ card.

Addressing to party workers in Hyderabad, Bilawal Bhutto said that PPP has always worked for the betterment of masses because prosperous farmer means prosperous Pakistan.

He further added not a single party has given its manifesto until now, only PPP has revealed its manifesto for the masses.

He advised candidates to vote for PPP on July 25 for the sake of the country.

Earlier, Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing a rally in Thatta said that case vote for PPP to save Pakistan.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari embarked on road journey from June 02 as he attempts to garner support for the general election scheduled for July 25.

Undeterred by a mob attack on his caravan a day earlier during his electoral rally in Karachi’s Lyari neighbourhood, Bilawal hit the city’s roads once again.

“PPP does not believe in the politics of violence,” the Bhutto scion said, as he stepped out of his car en route to interior Sindh to address supporters on Monday morning.

“My warm welcome in Lyari did not go down well with opposing parties,” he added.

Speaking to supporters in Quaidabad, the PPP chairman said that stones were pelted at his rally on Sunday under a conspiracy.

Addressing workers upon reaching Gharo in Thatta district, he said that he had visited the district seeking votes from the masses for the first time and expressed hope that they would not disappoint him.After Sindh, Bilawal will campaign in southern Punjab and then on to the rest of the country.

A detailed travel log of the PPP chief is yet to be issued by the party.

Earlier, enraged residents of Karachi’s Bihar Colony pelted stones at motorcade of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The women also took part in the protest. Some protesters also resorted to vandalism and broke window of the vehicle.

Later, Bilawal’s stalwarts came to his rescue and pelted stones back at the protesters. Additional contingent of police have been summoned to control the situation.

Police resorted to baton-charge to disperse the angry protesters. At least one member of the PPP was injured in the clashes and rushed to hospital for treatment.

Bilawal Bhutto’s spokesperson Mustafa Nawaz Khokar stated that those practicing politics of violence can’t halt our path. He said, “We responded to violence by political process. Tensions in area will rise if violence isn’t halted at earliest”.
