Prepared To Respond If  War Imposed: Shaukat Yousufzai

PESHAWAR: Provincial Minister for Information KP Shaukat Yousufzai has said that “We are prepared if war imposed on us but wants to resolve dispute through talks.”

Holding a presser after a provincial cabinet meeting the provincial information minister KP Shaukat Yousufzai said that the cabinet meeting condemned attack on a judge while the meeting briefed over the province preparedness in escalating situation with India.

Provincial Information Minister Shaukat Yousufzai said that people will be aware on district and union council level in view of emergency while 24-hours control room will be formed on district level.

Information Minister said that the huddle lauded efforts of Pakistan Air-Force over befitting response to India and also paid rich tributes to Pakistan army.

Shaukat Yousufzai said that as many as 28 opposition parties of India gathered against ruling Modi while civilian and military leadership are on same page in Pakistan.

The minister said that 1 billion rupees will be shortly released to pay salaries of Khasadar force while all the government departments have been given emergency plan and Civil defense institutions will start their activities soon.

He said that provincial cabinet meeting will be held weekly as emergency situation prevails.

Shaukat said that India and Pakistan are two atomic powers if war started then it will not end while both the countries should go to development instead of war.

He said that all human rights organization should work on resolving Kashmir disputes while our foreign policy will give awareness to world institutions over the Kashmir disputes.
