ISLAMABAD: President Arif Ali on Tuesday thanked New Zealand prime minister thanked Jacinda Ardern “for the strong compassion she has shown in the face of [the] terrorist killing of 50 Muslims”.
He also lauded the people of New Zealand for their “unanimous outpouring of love” towards the Muslim community and rejecting of Islamophobia.
“NZ citizens also deserve praise for a unanimous outpouring of love towards the Muslim community, rejecting hate and Islamophobia,” he tweeted.

Earlier, expressing solidarity with the Muslims community, the NZ premier vowed to the grieving citizens that the terrorist, who killed 50 worshippers in a brutal assault on two mosques, would face the “full force of the law”.
He is a terrorist. He is a criminal. He is an extremist. But he will, when I speak, be nameless,” the premier added.
Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal also thanked PM Ardern for recognising Rashid’s bravery.
