London (August 26, 2018): President Mamnoon Hussain along with his wife visited Harley Street Clinic on Sunday to inquire about the health of ailing Kulsoom Nawaz, the wife of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
While talking to journalists outside Harley Street Clinic, President Mamnoon Hussain said that he talked to Kulsoom Nawaz in the hospital.

He said Kulsoom appealed the nation to pray for her early recovery. Mamnoon Hussain said that he still stands with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Earlier, Hussain Nawaz received the president and his wife at the clinic. It is pertinent here to mention that Begum Kulsoom Nawaz is undergoing treatment for throat cancer in London’s Harley Street Clinic.
The former premier’s wife was diagnosed with lymphoma – a cancer of the lymph nodes – in August last year. She has since undergone several sessions of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Initially, she showed signs of improvement but as of later, her condition deteriorated.
