Lahore: The pressure has been mounted to bring change in the announced squad of T-20 for T-20 World Cup.
The most of players included in the announced squad have badly failed in the ongoing National T-20 cup. While three players of the squad have showed satisfactory performance.These three players included Muhammad Rizwan, captain, Baber Azam and Hassan Ali.
As per the ICC rules the squad can be changed till October 10.
The change in the T-20 squad is likely as the most of the players included in the squad have failed miserably which included Azam Khan, Sohaib Maqsood and many others.
No any player except Muhammad Rizwan, Baber Azam and Hassan Ali could not be attracted for their performance .
On the other hand, Muhammad Hafeez has left the tournament owing to food poisoning. Khusdil Shah, Amad Waseem , Azam Khan and Sohaib Maqsood are looking completely out of form.
Asif Ali scored 43 runs against Balochistan in first match but he made just 10 runs in the next match. Muhammad Rizwan sum of three matches score is 135, Baber Azam hit 110 runs in three matches.
Asif Ali scored 53 runs in two matches, Khushdil Shah scored 53 runs in three matches, Sohaib Maqsood made 42 runs in three matches, while Azam Khan made 35 runs in three matches. Shadab Khan made 17 runs in two matches.
Thus, the pressure has been mounted on the Pakistan Cricket Board to show doors to players having bad performance.
