ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is presiding over a federal cabinet meeting on a 16-point agenda including briefing to the members about his visit to China.
According to sources, the prime minister and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi will take the cabinet into confidence regarding the premier’s visit to China.
Finance adviser Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and PM’s adviser on commerce will brief the cabinet on agreements reached during prime minister’s visit to China.
The minister for planning and development will also brief the members on the second phase of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Besides, a 16-point agenda has also been finalized including a proposal to bifurcate Petroleum and Power Division as separate ministries.
