Karachi: Their Royal Highnesses Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana visited Special Security Unit Headquarters on Friday.
They were accompanied by His Excellency Mr Manuel Duran Gimenez-Rico, Spanish Ambassador to Pakistan and Mr Ghouse Akbar Honorary Consul of Spain at Karachi.
HRH Prince Nikolaos is the first cousin of King of Spain and nephew of Queen of Denmark and Godson of Prince Charles of Britain.
Maqsood Ahmed Police Security and Emergency Service Division welcomed the dignitaries on behalf of Dr Syed Kaleem Imam, Inspector General of Sindh Police. The visitors were briefed about the role and functions of the SSU and were informed that the SSU is Pakistan’s only ISO Certified Law Enforcement Unit.
They also witnessed a live demo by SSU SWAT Commandos. They were also shown various facilities at the Headquarters. The dignitaries appreciated the professionalism and crucial role played by SSU in maintaining law and order.
Prince Nikolaos also signed the guest book. DIG Maqsood Ahmed presented a souvenir to the distinguished guests.
