KARACHI: Privatization Commission has decided not to sell Steel Mills to Sindh Government, hence final approval will be acquired in meeting of Cabinet of Privatization Committee meeting.
According to sources, Sindh government had expressed interest in purchase of Steel Mills seven months earlier, hence Sindh Government did not advance clearly in this connection, due to which Privatization Commission has declared Sindh Government behavior for purchase of Steel Mills as non serious and decided to seek permission from Cabinet Committee for Privatization to consider on other options.
According to sources, Road shows to be conducted in Turkey, China and other countries for privatization of Steel Mills.
