The couple’s Christian nuptials played host to an 18-foot cake made by personal chefs the groom brought over from Kuwait and Dubai.
Priyanka and Nick’s Hindu festivities reportedly featured a 40-foot floral canopy called a mandap, and the bride and groom took an elephant ride around the venue.
The groom had a Baaraat – a procession in which the groom arrives at his wedding on a horse, surrounded by his dancing loved ones and a live band.
Priyanka wore an outfit by the highly regarded designer Sabyasachi Mukherji, who was glimpsed arriving in Jodhpur on Friday.
The Hindu marriage was sealed with a ceremony called Saath Phere, in which the bride and groom walk around a fire seven times to represent seven marital vows.
Priyanka attended her Mehendi and Sangeet in couture by the duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, acclaimed for their work in such Hindi movies as Devdas.
At the Mehendi, Nick’s mother Denise Jonas presented her with a $79,500 pair of Van Cleef And Arpels Snowflake earrings.
Hours later at the Sangeet, the bride danced to her own film songs before her movie star cousin Parineeti Chopra and some friends acted out the story of her life and relationship with her groom.
The Sangeet attendees arrived to the sight of staff and Kalbeliya tribal dancers carrying torches and modeling the local dress of Rajasthan.
Saturday’s festivities concluded with a massive fireworks show outside Umaid Bhawan, which was captured on photo and video from a distance.
Priyanka and Nick’s functions happened to fall on the same weekend as the star-studded Bombay reception of Bollywood film star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who wore Sabyasachi to their wedding at Lake Como last month.
After the Christian ceremony on Friday came a chockablock Saturday, with the Mehendi during the day followed by a Sangeet at night.
