ISLAMABAD: The leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Jahangir Tareen claimed on Thursday that he has fulfilled his commitment to deliver sugar on the lowest prices to Utility Stores.
In his statement on Twitter, PTI leader said that he has submitted tender to provide 20,000 tons of sugar cost of Rs 67 per kilo to Utility Stores.
As promised on @nadeemmalik‘s show, I’ve fulfilled my commitment to supply 20,000 tons sugar at Rs 67000/Ton in the tender today.
Last tender was opened on 17th March, in which 20,000 ton sugar was bought at Rs 79500/Ton

He mentioned that the last tender was opened on March 17, in which 20,000 sugar was bought with the cost of Rs 79,500 per ton.
“It will provide relief directly to people which will be costing rupees 250 million,” he said.
