Protection of Public Interests Top Priority of Govt: PM Imran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Babar Awan, met Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday at PM House in Islamabad.

During the meeting, PM Khan and Babar Awan exchanged views on constitutional, legal and political matters.

On the occasion, the premier said that safeguarding public interests is the top priority of the incumbent government, adding that it is the state’s responsibility to care about the deprived sector.

“The government is making all-out efforts to pull the nation out of the economic crisis with assistance of its team” he added.

Babar Awan said that opposition is making ‘hue and cry’ just to escape the accountability process, adding that opposition neither has street power nor public support.
