OTTAWA: A protest demonstration was held in Canada against Indian actions to end the special status of occupied Kashmir while friends of Kashmir committee called on Canadian Foreign Minister and apprised him about the Indian move.
The protestors brought out the rally in Ottawa and chanted slogans against the Indian action in Indian held Kashmir.
The friends of Kashmir committee in their meeting with Canadian Foreign Minister Christia Freeland informed the situation emitted out after the Indian illegal action in occupied Kashmir.
The committee urged the Canadian Foreign Minister to clearly stated its stand on the grave situation of Kashmir and play its role to solve the Kashmir dispute.
Talking to the delegation, Christia Freeland said that an upcoming meeting of G-7 countries in France will be the best opportunity to highlight the Kashmir dispute and a joint strategy will be adopted on the issue.
