Nationwide Protests Continue Against Massacre in Myanmar

Islamabad (September 7, 2017): Rallies demanding stopping barbaric state-abetted massacre of Muslims in Myanmar were held in many cities across the city.

Lawyers rallied against the massacre of Rohingya Muslims by Myanmar junta in league with Buddhist monks at a rally organized by District Bar Association of Sargodha.

The participants of the rally demanded end to killings of the innocent, unarmed, and oppressed minority Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.

A large number of people also joined a protest rally organized by various political and religious parties in Sargodha against the genocide of Muslims in Myanmar. The big rally concluded at Kenchi Moor after passing through the designated routes along the Fatima Jinnah Road.

Lawyers also staged a protest rally in Sanghar to express solidarity with and extend support to Rohingya Muslims. The protesting lawyers boycotted the court proceedings to get their protest against barbaric killings of Muslims in Myanmar.

Participants of a rally organized by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in Dera Ghazi Khan demanded the government to severe diplomatic ties with Myanmar.

Journalists staged a rally in Sharqpur Sharqia to express solidarity with Myanmar’s persecuted Muslims. The protestors holding banners and placards against Myanmar rulers chanted loud slogans condemning the state-abetted systematic genocide of Muslims in Myanmar. They demanded bringing the unspeakable violence against Muslims in Myanmar to an end at the earliest.

In Nowshehra, participants of a protest rally condemning Myanmar government for the state-orchestrated Muslim genocide demanded brining the barbaric indiscriminate killings of Rohingya Muslims.

Similar rallies to express solidarity with and support to Rohingya Muslims of Myanmar were also staged in many other big and small cities of the country including Bhawalpur, Bhawalnagar, Chiniot, Rahim Yar Khan, Chistian, and Sialkot by social organizations.
