China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) conference which was held in Islamabad actively participated by all four provinces while finance minister in his address said that with the participation of all provinces will increase opportunities of investment.
Addressing the CPEC conference in Islamabad, the finance minister Ishaq Dar said that the provinces apprised about existing opportunities of investment. The minister hoped that in coming years the investment in the country will increase.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the provincial government is making two new export processing zones, one in Port Qasim and other in Katy Bandar and Chinese investors should make most of the benefit.
As many as 17 economic zones are being constructed on the CPEC route, said Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhawa adding that for the economic zones electricity projects of 675 mw will be installed.
The conference was addressed by Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan besides that federal minister of planning and development also addressed.
