Karachi (June 5, 2017): Sindh cabinet on Monday approved provincial budget for fiscal year 2017-18 with an outlay of Rs1.43 trillion budget.
Special meeting of the provincial cabinet held here to approve the budget. Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah presided over the meeting.

The cabinet approved the budget, which will now be presented in Sindh Assembly today.
Addressing the cabinet meeting, Shah said that in the next fiscal year’s budget education had been given top most priority followed by health and law and order.
He added that Karachi would be given best package in the new budget. He added that the budget would lead to creation of job opportunities.
The chief minister added that Sindh government would raise government employees’ salaries more than the federal government.
The chief minister said that the provincial government achieved revenue collection target in the outgoing fiscal year.
