An Anti Terrorism court (ATC) has accepted bail plea of Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar in provocative speech case and ordered to submit surety bond of 25000 rupees.
The anti terrorism court approved the bail of Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar in inflammatory speech case and its F.I.R was registered in Sachal Police Station.
It is pertinent to mention here that as many as 39 cases are registered against Waseem Akhtar which included May 12 2007 and provocative speech case. Now, Waseem Akhtar bails have been accepted in 38 cases while terrorists facilitation case has been left which is only hindrance to his release.
