DUBAI: Captains of all six teams of the fourth edition of awaited Pakistan Super League (PSL) will hold a joint press conference at the Dubai International Stadium today.
Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani and Managing Director Wasim Khan will also attend the all-important presser in Dubai.
The stars who will be performing in the opening ceremony of the league on Wednesday will also talk to media. These stars include Pakistan’s famous actor turned singer Fawad Khan, Boney M, Des Young, Aima Baig, Shuja Haider.
The fourth edition of the tournament would see six teams competing with each other for the esteemed trophy that has been won twice by Islamabad United and once by Peshawar Zalmi.
The sixth team has been acquired by Ali Tareen and the Multan consortium after the previous owners, Schon Group, ended their contract with the PSL.
The PSL 4 opening game will be played on 14th February between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars in Dubai.
The tickets for the Karachi and Lahore matches are slated to go on sale from Saturday, with the minimum price fixed at Rs500.
The ticket prices will range from Rs500 to Rs12,000 for the eight matches scheduled to be held in Karachi and Lahore.
The ticket prices for the five matches scheduled in Karachi will be from Rs500 to Rs12,000, while the prices for the three matches scheduled in Lahore will range from Rs1,000 to Rs12,000.
Tickets for the final, to be held in Karachi on March 17, will be costlier, the sources said.
