DUBAI: Two matches are scheduled for today’s game day in the fourth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL). Multan Sultans will be playing against Peshawar Zalmis and Karachi Kings will be seen in action against Lahore Qalandars.
In the first action-packed game, Shoaib Malik-led Sultans will be meeting Zalmi at the Dubai Cricket Stadium as their game will begin at 4:30 pm. Qalandars and Kings will have their face-off at the same stadium at 9 pm.
Two exciting matches were witnessed at Dubai Cricket Stadium preceding day where Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United emerged victorious, going up into the points table.
Lahore Qalandars comfortably chased down a 107-run target with eight wickets in hand to defeat top-ranked Quetta Gladiators in a low-scoring match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Whole of Gladiators were bowled out at 106 in 19.1 overs. Ahsan Ali scored 33 runs off 25 balls, skipper Sarfraz scored 29 and Nawaz added 12 runs in this total as only three batsmen entered into double figures.
In second game of the day, Asif Ali’s blitz helped Islamabad United to register their fourth win of the tournament by thrashing Karachi Kings in the 18th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 4).
Batting first, Karachi Kings had set 169-run target for Islamabad United. However, United chased down the target in 19th over courtesy Asif Ali’s 36 balls 75 runs. He was well supported by Philip Salt who scored 46 runs off 38 balls.
Umer Khan was pick of the bowler from United side as he managed to get two wickets.
