Sharjah (March 03, 2018): Following the the heroic leg-spin and googly of Imran Tahir ripped through Quetta Gladiators batting line up the Multans’ all time brilliant Sanghakara helped team to sails easy victory against Quetta Gladiators on Saturday 13th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The 66-run opening partnership of Ahmed Shehzad and Kumar Sanghakara has laid the foundation for solid and easy victory.
After the Shehzad departure Sanghakara joined hands with Sohaib Maqsood, who has lost his forms for several years, and took the team to victory in 17th over as nine wickets in hands.Sanghakara’s 51-run innings on 44 balls envisaged with five fours and a mighty six.
Gladiators bowlers failed to deliver as only Hassan Khan grabbed the lone wicket.
Earlier, Multan Sultans won the toss and opted to bowl against Quetta Gladiators in today’s first match at the Sharjah Cricket Ground.
Quetta brought back Mahmudullah and included Rameez Raja Jr in the playing XI, dropping Kevin Pietersen and Asad Shafiq.
Umar Amin and Shane Watson opened the batting for the Gladiators, whereas Mohammad Irfan and Sohail Tanvir shared the new ball for the Sultans.

Watson hit some crisp boundaries but lost his partner Amin in the fourth over in this fashion.
By the end of 5 overs, the Gladiators were 29-2, with the bowling side, not for the first time in the PSL 2018, enjoying the upper hand.
Junaid struck again in his next over, this time the dangerous looking Watson (19) departing.
By the end of 10 overs, the Gladiators were 76-4, with captain Sarfraz Ahmed and Mahmudullah at the crease.
