PSX Closes at Positive Note After Gaining 730 Points Today

Karachi (July 4, 2017): Pakistan Stock Exchange has ended Tuesday’s session on a positive note, with the benchmark KSE-100 index gaining 728.65 points, or 1.63 per cent, by the close of the trading session to reach 45,394.06.

Volumes were primarily led by commercial banking stocks as the benchmark index staged a recovery after yesterday’s 1,900 point massacre.

99.78 million shares changed had hands by the end of the session, with a total worth of nearly Rs7.63 billion.

Stocks of 382 companies were traded, of which 228 gained in value, 131 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
