KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) benchmark KSE-100 index closed up by 55.74 points.
The index closed at 46689.73 points with a positive change of 55.74 and volume of 83,495,050 shares.
During the day’s trade the index hit the highest point of 46898.59 and dipped to the lowest 46622.42. The total volume traded on Monday was 179,672,900 shares with 386 total traded companies out of which 185 were up 181 were down and 20 were unchanged.
Technology & Communication was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 23,461,500 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 22,313,900 shares.
The three top traded companies were TRG Pak Ltd with a volume of 18,620,500 and price per share of 45.51 (1.69), Dost Steels Ltd. with a volume 9,309,000 of price per share of 10.52 (0.07), B.O.Punjab with a volume 8,216,000 of price per share of 17.22 (0.33).
