PSX WItnesses Another Slump as 100-Index Loses 501 Points

KARACHI: The KSE-100 index of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bearish trend on Friday as it came down by 501 points to close at 38,306 points.

The value US Dollar to PKR increased by 11 paisa in the interbank market before closing at Rs139.46, whereas the rate of Dollar in the open market increased by 10 paisa to reach at 139.30.

On the other hand, With Rs300 per tola and Rs258 per 10 grams rise, the price of gold has gone up to Rs69,300 and Rs59,414 respectively in the local market.

The rise in gold prices in Pakistan was seen after an increase in rates by $6 in international market putting its value to $1304 per ounce.
