KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed bullish trend today (Wednesday) as KSE-100 Index closed at 34291.65 points as compared to 33885.09 points on the last working day with a positive change of 406.56 points.
Total 327 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today (Wednesday), out of which 219 recorded gains and 98 sustained losses whereas the share price of 10 companies remained unchanged.
The gold price in Pakistan has increased by Rs400 per tola. After an increase of Rs 400, the price of per tola has become 71,100.
Increase also witnessed in 10 gm gold prices which reached 60, 957 rupees. On the other hand, the gold price in the international market has become 1,298 dollars an ounce now.
Moreover, Lack of confidence in Pakistan’s economic sector has resulted in dollar jumping to staggering Rs146.25.
The US Dollar on Wednesday increased by Rs2.25 in the open market.
